Step by step instructions to take full backup in cPanel

Follow the below step by step instructions to take full backup in cPanel:


Step1:Log into cPanel.
Step2: In the Files section, click on the Backup icon.
Step3: Under Full Backup, click Generate/ Download a Full Website Backup.
Step4: On the next page, select the Home Directory option from the Backup Destination drop-down menu.
Step5: For Email Address, select whether or not you wish to receive an email notification once the backup is complete.
Step6: Click Generate Backup.


Note: Once finished backup, It’s advisable to store backups in an offsite location, just in case there’s physical damage to the drives. Please keep a good working copy of your website content and database locally stored safely on your own computer. Please be advised, we do not allow anyone to store backups in File Manager— you must store them off of the server.
